The Guernsey Fencing Club cordially invites you to participate in an International Handicap Competition on Sunday 26th July, for Foil and Epée fencers.
Only one weapon can be fenced; Entry is £10.00p
Entries are expected from the UK, France and Jersey.
The Handicap system will ensure that all competitors will have an equal chance to win. Last year a local junior fencer won against a senior Commonwealth opponent.
We will also have the pleasure of welcoming Peter and Janet Huggins, of British Fencing and the F.I.E, to run a British Fencing Level 1 & 2 Refereeing Course and a Personal Armouring Course respectively, over the course of the weekend. The Courses will take place on Saturday 25th July, with the final refereeing assessment being held during the Sunday Competition.
Places are limited, and will be filled on a first come-first served basis. The Fee for each Course is £45.00p

The Guernsey Fencing Club will be hosting a Competition Dinner at Les Cotils Centre on the evening of Saturday 25th July. To enhance your enjoyment of the evening, the G.F.C has also arranged that this Dinner will be preceded by a guided walking tour of St Peter Port, lead by Gold Accredited Guide, Mrs Annette Henry.
The Fee for the Tour and Dinner is £35.00p.
